REGISTRATION RULES
ARTICLE IV - LITTER REGISTRATIONS
Section 1:  Litter of kittens may be registered with IPCBA provided the dam of the litter is registered with IPCBA.  If the sire of the litter is not registered with IPCBA but is registered with another association, a copy of his certificate of registration in the other association must accompany the application for litter registration.  The copy shall then be attached to the application for a record in the association files.
Section 2: The application to register a litter shall show the names and registration numbers of the sire and dam, the date of birth, the number of male kittens and the color of each, the number of female kittens and the color of each,  the name of the breeder, and the name of the owner of the sire. 
Section 3:  The secretary shall issue a certificate of litter registration , which shall show the registration number of the litter and the serial number of each kitten.  No kitten from such litter shall thereafter be individually registered unless the individual application for registration of a cat of a registered litter issued by the association is presented. 
Section 4:  If the applicant for the litter registration is not the owner of the sire of the litter, then the owner of the sire must sign the litter application or a breeding certificate signed by the owner of the sire must accompany the application for IPCBA files.
